A Chinese and another man from Mombasa are the latest victims, before the suspects were arrested on Thursday, May 17, police said.

One of the victims, Shadrack Kimanzi, traveled from Mombasa to Nairobi on Saturday, May 12 for some official duties.
The suspects, who were his friends on Facebook, called and told him that they had seen from his post that he was in Nairobi.
They then invited Kimanzi to the house and he was picked by one of the men from the stage.
When he went to their house, he realised that there was only one bed.
Three other men emerged from under the bed and ordered him to remove his clothes.

One of the suspects also removed his clothes and took him to bed.
The others took photos of the two of them while naked in bed.
They showed him the photos and threatened to share them with his friends and family members if he did not give them money.
Kimanzi obliged and the gang also robbed him of his laptop, cash and mobile phone before releasing him.
He later reported to the police but when the law enforcers went to the house, they did not find anyone and decided to lay an ambush.
On Wednesday, May 16, at night, the Kabete Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) boss, King'eero police station OCS and his team raided Wema Kabete Flats in Lower Kabete and managed to arrest three suspects.

One of them however managed to escape but was later found at the hospital where he had been taken to by the members of the public with a broken leg.
In the house, a Chinese male national was found having been detained.
It was established that he had also been forced to lie in bed naked with another naked man before their photos were taken. The men then demanded for money.
Investigations have been launched and police are appealing to members of the public who may have fallen victim of the blackmailers to report to the Kabete DCI boss.
